William Storo, MD
Dr. William Storo is a board-certified pediatrician with expertise in general pediatrics and primary care. He has been serving families in the Lowcountry since 2018, providing compassionate care for children from newborns to adolescents. His areas of focus include newborn care, general pediatric services, and adolescent medicine.
Dr. Storo earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine in 1992 and completed his residency at the University of Virginia Health Science Center in 1995. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to his young patients.
Over the years, Dr. Storo has served as Chair of Pediatrics at Dartmouth Hitchcock in Concord, NH, and as President of the New Hampshire Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has also worked as a pediatric hospitalist, a credentialed ImPACT Concussion Consultant, a supervising physician for local school districts, and a team physician for several high schools. His leadership experience and broad clinical background have shaped his holistic approach to pediatric care, focusing on both individual patient needs and community health.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Storo values building lasting relationships with families in his community. Originally from the Northeast, he now calls the Lowcountry home, where he enjoys the beautiful surroundings with his wife and their tri-color Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Enzo.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Storo is passionate about music and is the author of a music blog. He also enjoys weight training, bicycling, kayaking, and making homemade ice cream.
