Amy McNamara, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Amy McNamara is a bilingual (English/Spanish) nurse practitioner with extensive experience in both pediatric and adult medicine. Her passion for nursing and helping others began at the age of 17, and she has since dedicated more than two decades to the medical field, working in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.
Amy earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Loyola University Chicago, where she gained clinical experience in some of the nation’s top urban hospitals, including Rush, Northwestern, and Loyola Medical Center. As a military spouse, she later relocated to Hawai‘i, where she pursued graduate studies at Hawai‘i Pacific University while working in Honolulu’s urban medical facilities. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of South Carolina.
Specializing in family medicine, Amy is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based primary care with a strong focus on prevention and patient education. As a bilingual provider, she enhances communication and accessibility for Spanish-speaking patients, ensuring they receive high-quality, patient-centered care. She also has a special interest in integrative medicine and natural remedies, blending holistic approaches with conventional treatments to support overall wellness.
