Maureen Berrigan, MD
Dr. Maureen Berrigan founded Seaside Pediatrics in Bluffton in 2007 and later expanded to Hilton Head Island in 2015. A longtime member of the Lowcountry community, she moved to Hilton Head with her family in the mid-1970s and attended what is now Hilton Head Preparatory School.
Dr. Berrigan earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University and initially worked as a Certified Public Accountant before realizing her true calling-the medical care of children. She returned to Emory to pursue her Doctor of Medicine and remained there to complete her Pediatrics Residency.
With over two decades of pediatric experience, Dr. Berrigan is known for her compassionate approach, dedication to families, and commitment to providing personalized, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Outside of work, Dr. Berrigan enjoys traveling, reading, and staying active. She can often be found on the tennis courts, golf course, or pickleball court-doing her best not to embarrass herself, as she says with a smile. She has three adult children and one grandson who keep life joyful and full.
